With the academic year almost coming to an end, this is the perfect time for students to show off their work and display the projects they have been busy working on. It can be great to host an open day for the students, and Hog Roast Wendover has plenty of menus that are sure to be a great addition to the event. Here is just one option you could enjoy this term…
Earlier this term, Hog Roast Wendover was contacted by a college in Chiltern Hills to see if we could cater for their end of year open day. The open day is hosted to allow students to show friends and family around their department, where their work will be on display. This event is always a wonderful day for students and their guests and is a great way to boost motivation and build a sense of accomplishment. Alongside the displays, Hog Roast Wendover will be serving a delicious buffet menu for guests to enjoy, which is sure to be a success. After looking through the menus that we have to offer, it was decided that our Gourmet BBQ menu will be ideal, since it has plenty of dishes for every guest to enjoy.
In preparation for this event, the Hog Roast Wendover team will arrive at the college in the morning and get to work on preparing our menu. We will be serving a broad selection of main dishes, including succulent pork sausages, veggie sausages, juicy British beef burgers, halloumi and vegetable skewers, marinated chicken kebabs, and BBQ spareribs. These dishes will be served in fresh bread rolls, with gluten-free rolls also on offer. For the sides, we will be serving herby baby potatoes, crunchy coleslaw, a mixed leaf salad, and our Chef’s own pasta salad. Overall, this menu is incredibly varied and is sure to be a success at the open day!
