At the start of October, Hog Roast Princes Risborough catered for an event at Linear Fisheries in Witney. The event was the annual singles 72-hour carp fishing tournament for the RAF angling team. This annual event is always a lot of fun and this year there are 50 guests in attendance. Alongside the fishing, Hog Roast Princes Risborough was hired to cater for the occasion with a delicious southern slow roast menu. Our catering manager Adrian was happy to get involved with this event and this menu was the ideal choice for the occasion since it includes so many succulent and delicious dishes to choose from.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Princes Risborough team arrived at the venue in the morning to prepare for the 15:00 serving time. We began by slow-roasting the main dishes, which included a 24-hour beef brisket, whole-roasted cajun spiced chicken, and BBQ spareribs. For the sides, we provided corn cobettes, gourmet coleslaw, and buttered new potatoes. Additionally, we provided a selection of fresh bread rolls and wraps. All of our ingredients were freshly sourced from high-quality suppliers and every dish was prepared on-site to ensure that it was cooked to perfection and packed full of natural juices and flavours. Overall, our menu was a great addition to this event and was ideal for enjoying alongside the fishing activities that were taking place. Our varied menu meant that there was something for everyone to enjoy and more than enough to go around.
