At the beginning of every year the Hog Roast Askett team looks at the calendar and sets about marking as many dates for the year to look out for as possible. As a caterer, there are your usual seasons such as Christmas and New Year where you know you are going to be busy with seasonal events, but the other massive dates to look forward to always come in the summer season. When the sun is out and people are off work, you are just going to get far more events. It is that simple.

Your Hog Roast Askett team has been extremely busy over the last few summer months. Even though the weather didn’t always come quite as we might have liked, the events still came thick and fast. It is only now as September begins where we can slow down ever so slightly and say that we’ve had another successful summer packed away in the books again!
There was so much going on this summer that kept our teams on their toes. As an event caterer, we were more than happy serve up your watch events for both the Euros and the Olympics this summer. It gave us a room to enjoy some of the biggest moments of the summer in while also getting to do what we love in serving great Hog Roast Askett customers like you! We saw England come agonisingly close, Andy Murray close out a legendary tennis career, and immense records broken at the likes of the pole vault, swimming, and Tom Cruise skydiving down to Hollywood – how’s that for a blockbuster summer!?
We also managed to serve hundreds, if not thousands, of barbecues right the way across the country as the summer weather shone on those rare days. We had your many weddings to come out to, including some of rock and roll fame! And we had hog roast after hog roast, cooked and served fresh and hot to thousands of you lovely guests. All in a summer’s work!
