The weather here in Chiltern Hills has been absolutely gorgeous lately, so it’s no wonder that Hog Roast Letchworth Garden City has been so busy with BBQ bookings! Last weekend, we were lucky enough to help out Lucy with a BBQ party for her family – and what a day to remember, it was!
The sun was shining, the temperatures soared in the high twenties, the laughter was loud, and the smell of our delicious BBQ filled the air, which had everyone’s taste buds tingling.
At Lucy’s request, Hog Roast Letchworth Garden City’s catering manager, Adrian, had whipped up a Gourmet BBQ feast for the special occasion, which included all the traditional favourites as well as some exciting extras.
Appealing to every palate, this bountiful banquet consisted of juicy chicken kebabs, BBQ meaty marinated spareribs, our chef’s own gourmet sausages, handmade British beef burgers, veggie sliders and grilled vegetable kebabs with tzatziki dip and flatbreads. For sides, Hog Roast Letchworth Garden City prepared a delicious pasta salad, zesty coleslaw and handmade sweet potato and regular fries. Our team also served an array of condiments, dips and vibrant charcuterie boards, which featured cold-cut meats, cheeses, artisan breads and more!
The adults savoured the chance to relax in the sun and enjoy Hog Roast Letchworth Garden City’s delicious food, while the kids had the time of their lives playing on the bouncy castle and waterslides that Lucy had rented for the occasion.
With the temperature nearing 30°C, the guests were also relieved when Hog Roast Letchworth Garden City unveiled a buffet of refreshments. Iced tea, fresh fruit juice, chilled water and boozy beverages (provided by the client) were presented on a separate serving table for the guests to help themselves.
It was a great day, and everyone who attended left with memories of a wonderful outdoor family BBQ. It really was such a joy for them to take advantage of the gorgeous weather in Chiltern Hills and to enjoy the beautiful scenery surrounding Lucy’s home.
