This July, Hog Roast Aylesbury was hired to cater for an event hosted by CSM, a sports management company linked to Formula 1. The event took place at Helmdon House, which is a beautiful country house in Northants and is located just 5 miles from Silverstone. Among the 40 guests were plenty of notable figures, including members of many Formula 1 racing teams. The event included a delicious evening buffet served by Hog Roast Aylesbury, which consisted of a classic hog roast accompanied by a selection of sides.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Aylesbury team arrived at the elegant venue in the afternoon to prepare for the 20:30 serving time. Our catering manager Adrian got to work preparing the hog and ensuring that it was slow-roasted to perfection before it was expertly carved into succulent pieces. Once it was time to enjoy the menu, we served fresh bread rolls, stuffed with delicious pork, sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. For meat-free guests, we also provided BBQ pulled jackfruit, which is a great veggie alternative to pulled pork. Alongside the mains, the guests enjoyed a fresh mixed salad, and gourmet coleslaw, creating a filling and varied evening meal. Our menu was a great addition to this event and provided a helpful talking point for the evening, as well as being incredibly delicious and nutritious.
